Applications and tools are popping up everywhere to help you manage and gauge the ROI of using your Twitter account for business. Here are several web sites I’ve seen that provide interesting services, for free:
- MuckRack.com: Tracks what journalists are tracking, investigating and tweeting around. Find journalists from major news outlets.
- Tweetmeme.com: Shows you what the most popular topics are being tweeted about at any given moment.
- Twellow: It’s the Yellow Pages for Twitter. Submit your own Twitter site, and select categories and industries to be associated with. Search, find, and follow like-minded Twitterers in your industry.
Use these to monitor Twitter activity and even to pitch reporters.
